Annastassia
BPO Employee since 2019
I am the oldest of 6 children and when my father passed, I needed to help support the family. I applied to Wiphan’s Computer Keyboarding class and after graduating, I was hired at the BPO Center. I pay for school for my 5 younger siblings and I help my mother by paying for all the groceries for our family.

After completing Computer Keyboarding, I was hired by Wiphan’s BPO Operation. With my income, I pay for the rent on our home and all the groceries for my mother and 5 siblings. My family’s life would look very different if I had not joined Wiphan!

Daniel
BPO Employee since 2019
I come from a financially unstable home. I was feeling the pressure to do something to help out. I joined the Computer Keyboarding class and after completing it, I started working at Wiphan’s BPO Center. Now I am married with a wife and 2 children. I rent my own home, but I still help my parents out financially. I joined Wiphan at a very low point at in my life and it made a huge difference.
HISTORY OF BPO
In 2011, Wiphan partnered with a group of local Atlanta Christian businessmen who invested in a pilot project to determine if computer keyboarding training would be a viable addition to the existing Wiphan Skills Training Programs. The pilot successfully proved that women and older orphans (18 yrs and older), with no prior computer knowledge or experience, could learn and master keyboarding and computer skills. After the pilot project , the vision grew to have a facility to employ the graduates. In 2012, the Sister Project in San Antonio, Texas partnered with Wiphan to construct the current BPO Center. Today, the center employs 60 people full-time, processing data entry, back office functions and quality assurance work from the US. These employees support themselves and their households ( typically 4-6 adults and children) with a respectful, legitimate and dependable source of income. The proceeds from the Data Entry operations is re-invested in the care of widows and orphans providing 40% of the required operating expenses for Wiphan.
